Hotel Valley Ho Bath Tub Set

In this collection you will find 22 self-portraits taken in and around a bathtub (including 2 shower reflection photos) at the midcentury modern Hotel Valley Ho located in Scottsdale, Arizona. They are all taken using natural light, and are a combination of black and white and color photographs. It marks my last self-portrait session of 2023. As I create my art, I connect with playful and sensual aspects of my nature. I also open up spiritually to the history of the place where I am shooting. Some of the images in this set imbue vibrations from the 1950s. This location holds special meaning for me as Natalie Wood, my namesake, was one of the first celebrities to stay at the hotel, and she held her wedding reception there in 1957.
